Listening to a Ukrainian girl sing in a bomb shelter while her home/community get destroyed really put a new perspective on the current stress of my 9-5 job, or any thoughts of past regrets. My life is so simple. My ego is the biggest source of my stress. Seriously, I am truly blessed to be where I am. That begs the question… what can I do? How can I make things better within the small bubble I occupy? That is a personal prayer. I do not have an answer at this current time. But this event does remind us, mid-evil primitive danger still exists.
Wise man once said, “It’s better to be a warrior in a garden then a gardener in a war.” Watching the events unfold in Eastern Europe, I can only think about my role, and my family. I like the concept, you should be a monster. Then, learn how to control it.
